The wood color is not dark cherry wood as stated in the product description - the wood is a much lighter color. Also, the seat of the chair is very hard and uncomfortable.

This chair is very firm and you sit upright as I prefer. I'm ordering a second one since my grand daughter who weighs about 50 lbs. decided to use the first one as a trampoline and the cushion sagged. I looked at several local stores and couldn't find anything I like as well at less thatdouble the price.

Good quality construction. Not as comfortable to sit as I had hoped but it really is for visiting company and not to sit in and watch a movie for two hours.

I bought this chair to sit in while at my computer for hours at a time. It really doesn't have as comfortable a seat cushion as I'd hoped. Chair looks very nice, but quality is lacking in the wood turnings. They are fine, but they just don't show any attention to detail or craftsmanship. I have a similar chair, also made in China that has 100% nicer detail to the wood turnings.
